Float Tank Experience

First up; floatation tank therapy!

I won’t lie, as excited as I was to try this, I was also feeling a tad bit nervous, wondering, ‘Is it going to feel claustrophobic in there’. - can confirm - it does not!

Thanks to our lovely friends at Beyond Rest, in Prarahn, I had an all-round positive experience!

The nerves quickly eased as I was made to feel comfortable from the beginning - with all safety reassurance that you can easily open the pod at any given moment and switch the light on/off + call for assistance with a push of a button if needed. Also, SO much more space than you may anticipate in there!

There is an array of guided meditations to take you on a journey through your 60min float, (or shorter if you wish - I only did about 30-45mins for my first time, and chose the 20min guided meditation) … The meditations play for variable times / include either voiceover, music, or both. Or, you can choose to be in complete silence the whole time! I had a good mix of both sound + guidance, followed by complete silence + no light.

- BEST sleep that night 😴
